Another week down and only two more to go until Christmas break. It can't come soon enough. I had a meteorology test last week to keep the streak of tests alive.  I've had one since the second week in September. And it will go on until finals are over. I didn't really do anything exciting last week.  This week I have some Christmas parties with my church. And who serves ham at a church function. Didn;t God say not to eat pig. Oh well.  So as you can see by the length of this entry that my life is boring. In case you already didn't know that. Now I'm going to do some cleaning and studying. God bless.

You've got to love a break from school and a chance to eat lots and lots of food.  And what a fun week it was.  Even the physics test went better than normal.  I went golfing like 3 times last week and got a hole in one.  My first one ever (excluding miniature golf).  It was a 114 yard hole.  The ball has been retired and is among all of the other dust collecting trophies.  That was on Tuesday.  Wednesday and Thursday morning, my family and I put up our short 9 foot tree.  It was a 12 foot tree in our house in KY but it would not fit in our house here.  It's always so much fun to do decorating.  Thursday was Thanksgiving and involved a lot of turkey and awsome food.  Then came the lovely day after thanksgiving shopping.  This involved me getting up at 4 in the morning to go to Sears to get a 10 dollar gift card which bought some decorations for outside.  That's about all Friday involved.  Lots and lots of shopping and fighting mall parking lots, which isn't such a big deal with a handicap sticker.  Saturday had two awsome OU games.  First football with some friends who came over to watch the game and then the basketball game.  And that takes me to Sunday.  Typing on the internet, not studying or cleaning or anything else.  And that was my fun filled week.

I have finally come to the realization that I have been doing everything the wrong way. Once again, how much do I honestly rely on God? How much of my own twist do I throw into the Bible? It's a problem that we all have. God gives us everything we want, even if it will cost us severely. God has been laying some issues in my life that need to be resolved. His idea was for me to fast until I had them answered. Good idea had I ever done that. I always had an excuse with running or some other sport. Not anymore. I am actually excited to see how much this will help in my daily walk. One thing is for sure; it will mean daily taking up my cross and following or doing whatever God says. Sorry for this whole big thing on fasting and whatnot but that is what has been going on in my life other than the usual no free time on weekends anymore. Although I was glad to see one of my old high school friends and go to an OU basketball game, which we won. Anyways, I have a physics test tomorrow and should get back to studying.

Only one more week until Thanksgiving break!!! Too bad I have a Calc 3 and a physics test between now and then.  But at least there will be lots of food involved.  Somehow I got really busy really quickly.  This weekend involved going to the OU basketball game and a busy Sunday at church.  The game was really close, for the first five minutes that is.  At church, we had our annual singles vs. college flag football game.  And we won.  Also, 13 children accepted Christ into their lives.  That was so awsome to be apart of.  And in case I didn't mention it, only one more week until a small vacation!!!

I have to complain a bit. I came to Oklahoma to see some tornadoes and Kentucky decides to get more than we do.  That's so not fair.  Thankfully, everyone I know is o.k. from the storms that rolled through on Sunday.  Last week was nice not having a test until some brillant people decided to let me take two tests this week along with a ton of stuff being due.  It is going to be a very busy week.  And of course, I'm lazy and typing this up and not doing school work.  It's my fault for trying to do all of this on my own and not have faith that God could get me through it.  It comes down to giving up everything instead of just select parts to God.  It is also about compromising with God.  I like to try and throw in my own thoughts about how it should be and what would benefit me now instead of following what the Bible actually says.  Never a good idea.  How much do I hate what I am doing that is wrong; obviously not enough as I should be.  All I have to say is it is going to be a long, hard week.
